1. Data controller

The controller responsible for processing personal data in connection with LittleID is:

LifeStyleLabels GbR
Margit-Manz-Str. 18
55232 Alzey
Germany
Email: info@lifestylelabels.eu

This Privacy Notice applies to the LittleID mobile app and to technical services used solely to provide the LittleID functions described below.

2. Local use of LittleID

No LittleID user account is required for the app's core features. Saved LittleIDs, PuppyIDs, DiaperIDs, event badges, profile information, images and other content are generally stored locally on your device.

This includes, in particular:

  • scanned and saved IDs,
  • saved event badges,
  • images and profile pictures,
  • app settings,
  • content created locally with the Photo Composer,
  • your selected personal or pinned ID.

This locally stored content is not automatically transmitted to LifeStyleLabels GbR.

3. NFC scans

When you scan a compatible NFC card, LittleID processes the information stored on the NFC tag in order to display the ID and, if requested by you, save it locally.

During normal use, scanned content is not transmitted to our servers. NFC tags may, however, contain publicly readable information or links that may be processed by your operating system or other applications.

4. Backups

LittleID allows you to manually create and restore backups. Backup files are stored, transferred and managed by you. Current backup formats store their contents in encrypted form.

We do not receive a copy of your backup unless you choose to provide it to us, for example as part of a support request.

5. App Lock and biometric authentication

LittleID may use operating-system features such as Face ID, Touch ID or equivalent Android biometric authentication to protect access to the app.

Biometric characteristics are processed by the operating system. LittleID and LifeStyleLabels GbR do not receive access to your raw biometric data.

6. Optional DiapStash integration

LittleID can optionally be connected to a DiapStash account. This feature is disabled by default. A connection is established only when you initiate it within LittleID and authorize access through DiapStash.

DiapStash is an independent service. The project is managed by the non-profit DStash Foundation.

What information may be processed?

Depending on the information made available by DiapStash, LittleID may access and display information including:

  • whether a diaper is currently being worn,
  • product name, brand, size and, where available, variant,
  • start time and duration,
  • boosters or pads being used,
  • product images or image references,
  • tags associated with the current record,
  • other information required to provide the DiapStash functionality you have activated.

This information can contain highly personal or intimate details. Depending on its specific content and context, it may also include special categories of personal data within the meaning of Article 9 GDPR.

How does the connection work?

The connection uses the API provided by DiapStash together with an integration backend operated by LifeStyleLabels. DiapStash uses OAuth 2.0 for authorization. LittleID does not receive your DiapStash password.

For the longer-term connection used by LittleID, a durable access token issued by DiapStash, together with technically necessary connection information, may be stored on our backend. This token permits the access you authorized to the relevant DiapStash data and is treated as confidential.

Information retrieved from DiapStash is used solely to provide the DiapStash functionality you activated within LittleID. We do not sell or trade this information, use it for advertising or advertising profiles, or use it to train AI models.

Legal basis and withdrawal

Use of the DiapStash integration is voluntary. Processing is based on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Where special categories of personal data are involved, processing is based on your explicit consent under Article 9(2)(a) GDPR.

You can revoke the connection at any time in LittleID or through the connected-services controls of your DiapStash account. Once revocation takes effect, further access stops. Access tokens that are no longer required are deleted or invalidated.
